Block Development Officer Visits Mukti Gram

On the 13th of October 2023, Mr. Md Najir Hossain, the Block Development Officer of Mathurapur Block II in South 24 Parganas district, paid a visit to Mukti Gram in Purba Sridharpur. The primary objective of his visit was to assess Mukti’s contributions to riverbank conservation, specifically its initiatives involving mangrove and vetiver grass planting. In addition to inspecting the plantation sites, he also took the time to observe the village beautification and housing projects, gaining a comprehensive view of Mukti’s multifaceted community efforts.
