
On 17th March 2025, a crucial meeting was held at Mukti’s MCDF (Mukti Community Development Fund) Central Office with the participation of 21 out of 33 branches. The session was aimed at evaluating the progress of ongoing social initiatives, addressing challenges faced by various branches, and setting goals for the upcoming months. This meeting brought together branch leaders and central office coordinators to ensure the smooth operation of the MCDF projects, review inactive groups, and strengthen the overall organizational framework. The meeting was a platform for open discussions, problem-solving, and strategic planning for continued success.
The meeting began with a warm welcome from Smt Manasi Halder, the Central Chairperson of MCDF. She expressed her gratitude to everyone in attendance and set the tone for a productive session. The first topic addressed was the progress of the MCDF projects and the impact they had on social activities. Smt Susmita Bhattacharjee gave a detailed overview of the ongoing initiatives and stressed the importance of involving everyone in the process, ensuring that all stakeholders understood the significance of the projects and their role in them.
Shri Bishwanath Mandal, the Cluster Head, discussed the importance of the scorecard report. He emphasized how it helps track the performance of groups and allows for comparisons between them. He also raised the question of whether the leaders were actively monitoring their group’s performance, pointing out that the scorecard is a crucial tool in evaluating their progress.
The discussion then turned to the upcoming plans for the release of loans. A goal of distributing loans worth 10 crores in the next month was set. Shri Bishwanath Mandal also brought up the importance of depositing 5% of savings into the central account. He encouraged everyone to make this deposit, explaining how it would help streamline financial operations.
The meeting ended with a sense of fulfilment, having addressed several key issues and outlining several key issues and the necessary steps for improvement. Everyone left with a clear sense of direction and the tasks ahead for the coming month.
