Mukti is excited to share the initiation of a new guest house project, inspired by the design of one of the model houses at the Muktangan premises in Purba Sridharpur. The construction is being carried out using the same techniques as the model house, ensuring that the building meets high standards of durability and design.
A standout feature of this new guest house is its dome roof, which is currently under construction. In architectural terms, a dome is a hemispherical structure that evolved from the arch and is typically used as a ceiling or roof. The dome is being constructed using masonry and concrete, blending modern materials with traditional construction methods.
The dome roof is a highly efficient structure, similar to arches, and is self-supporting. It is stabilized by gravity, with its weight holding the structure in compression, allowing it to span large areas without the need for intermediary columns. This design not only creates a wide, open space below but also adds a unique aesthetic and functional value to the building.
Through this project, we are embracing sustainable and efficient construction methods that enhance the longevity and functionality of our facilities. The new guest house, with its innovative design, will offer a welcoming and open space for guests and community activities, aligning with our mission to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all. We eagerly anticipate the completion of this project and the positive impact it will have on the community.
