In a heartwarming and health-centered event at Sundarban Mela 2025, MUKTI, brought together the community for a session that blended education, wellness, and culture. The focus of the day’s activities was a yoga session, featuring 100 enthusiastic students from Krishnachandrapur High School, led by renowned physiotherapy and yoga expert, Mr. Kalyan Dey.
The yoga session, organised on 9th January 2025, aimed at promoting physical well-being and mental peace, saw students and instructors alike engage in a series of asanas and mindfulness practices. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Dey, participants demonstrated excellent discipline, concentration, and enthusiasm. The event not only highlighted the importance of yoga in daily life but also brought attention to the positive effects of physical activity on students’ overall health and academic performance.
The students, who had prepared for the event in advance, displayed their understanding of yoga’s calming effects through a series of movements that embodied both grace and strength. In a special highlight of the day, nine members of Mr. Kalyan Dey’s yoga team performed a captivating Yoga Dance performance on stage. The performance blended yoga postures with graceful dance moves, presenting a unique fusion of discipline and artistry. The rhythmic movements and synchronized choreography left the audience in awe, underscoring the versatility and beauty of yoga as an art form.
