On the 23rd of May 2023, a skill development training program, specifically designed for 11 teachers from Mukti Support Kishalaya School, was organized by Mukti at the PurbaSridharpur Mukti Library office premises. The training session was conducted by Mr. Subrata Naskar, Ms. Suchandra Mondal, and Mr. Bishnu Modal, representing the Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro South. Mr. MadhusudhanBairagi (member of the Mukti Board of Trustees), Mr. Pachugopal Maity (Mukti working committee member), and Mr. Biswajit Das (coordinator of the Mukti Kishalaya project) were also present at the training session.
During the training, the teachers received comprehensive guidance on various subjects, including Bengali character analysis, the identification of mathematical concepts, English grammar and usage, engaging rhymes with an action-oriented approach, as well as effective techniques for teaching science and mathematics using Teaching Learning materials (TLM). The trainers emphasized the utilization of hands-on and activity-based methodologies to enhance the teaching process and improve student learning outcomes.
The training provided to the Kishalaya School teachers equips them with enhanced subject knowledge, improves teaching methodologies, and enables the effective use of Teaching Learning Materials (TLM). By incorporating hands-on and activity-based approaches, personalized attention, and interactive techniques into their teaching, teachers create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. This leads to improved student engagement, comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, fostering academic growth and holistic development among the students.
