Temporary Refuge: Mukti’s Tarpaulin Support for Sundarbans Families

In immediate response to the widespread destruction caused by Cyclone Remal, Mukti has initiated a relief effort by providing tarpaulin sheets to affected families in the Sundarbans. To date, 300 tarpaulins have been distributed to the affected villagers. These tarpaulins offer immediate and essential shelter for those whose homes were destroyed or rendered uninhabitable by the storm. By distributing these durable, waterproof sheets, Mukti aims to protect vulnerable families from the harsh elements, ensuring they have temporary refuge while rebuilding efforts begin. This support is vital for maintaining basic living conditions and offering a semblance of security and stability in the aftermath of the cyclone, reflecting Mukti’s commitment to helping the community recover and rebuild.
