TCS Mukti Jatragachi Team Distributed Drawing Materials to the Needy Children

Every year in the month of August TCS BFSI US (Tata Consultancy Services, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, United States) East unit celebrates Sadhana SamarpaN which aims to devote 2,00,000 hours to community service globally. This year also BFSI US East organized and participated in several social activities.

To join them in this initiative and to help some distressed children in the society Mukti TCS Jatragachi team on 27^th August, 2021 organised a drawing material distribution program at Mukti Jatragachi Center, Kolkata. The program started at 4 PM. BFSI US East Chief Delivery Head Mr. Sudeep Mazumdar along with 8 TCS Mukti Jatragachi volunteers attended the program. 30 kids and their parents were invited to the distribution program.

The initiative was aimed at creating awareness and acknowledging the talent of underprivileged kids. The aim was to respect and felicitate them instead of just helping.

TCS BFSI US East team provided the drawing kits contained pencil, sharpener, eraser, colour pencil, drawing Materials and notebook. To make their day more memorable Mukti TCS Jatragachi team distributed some of their favorite refreshments like chocolates, cakes and fruit juice.

Mukti expressed sincere thanks to TCS BFSI US East team for encouraging the creative minds of those children which often seems redundant to their parents. This will also create awareness about the importance of education.

The distribution drive not only brought smiles on their faces but also acted as a platform and motivation for their work.
