Seedbank Committees’ Monthly Meetings

In August, three seed bank committees from Kuemuri and Heramba Gopalpur communities convened for their monthly meetings on the 17th and 18th. With around 45 participants combined, they collectively drafted a calendar to track seed exchange. Discussions encompassed operational aspects, roles of community members, seed collection timing, and future requirements. The committees, who had received training in seed collection and preservation. Seeking sought Mukti’s guidance for establishing self-sustaining initiatives. They outlined management, meeting schedules, and agenda topics. These meetings epitomized collaborative determination for community progress.
