In the aftermath of Cyclone Dana, Mukti has stepped up it’s relief efforts by distributing essential ration kits to 211 cyclone-affected families at Rajkanika and Rajnagar block under Kendrapara district, Odisha on 30th October, 2024. Each ration kit included essential items such as rice, dal, biscuits, soybeans, and puffed rice along with hygiene items such as soaps.
Mukti undertook this initiative to bring relief and hope to families devastated by Cyclone Dana. The cyclone’s ferocity left many struggling, with homes reduced to rubble and livelihoods destroyed overnight. This effort aims not only to meet their immediate needs but also to support their journey toward rebuilding their lives. Mukti stands in solidarity with these resilient communities, committed to helping them rise from the wreckage and restore a sense of normalcy and stability.
Local youth volunteered with Mukti to ensure that the aid reached the most vulnerable families. The local authorities appreciated the efforts of Mukti for the timely assistance, emphasizing the crucial role of such support in recovery efforts.
Mukti remains committed to helping the community recover. The distribution process is going on. As the region begins to heal Mukti calls for continued donations and support to further help the needy people of the affected area.
