01. Why the project is ?

Although countless job seekers can be found in almost every corner of West Bengal, the situation in Sundarbans is quite different, as it is one of the most neglected areas in the state and is suffering from disastrous climatic effects.
Coming from underprivileged backgrounds andremote places students’ search for jobs face many obstacles e.g. lack of quality education,limited financial resource and opportunity! Many a promising student unable to bear with the adversities are lost in the wilderness!
To help these youngsters, Mukti Employment Exchange(MEE) prioritizes finding job that pays them for sustenance and wellbeing of the family; a platform to connect with development of the society!

02. What the project is ?

India having apopulation over 1.3 billion with largest number of educated unemployed youth in the world who areexposed to multitude challenges today. The causes of educated unemployment could be due to a variety of factors, the most common of which is a lack of job opportunities. In due consideration to the present trend of occupation shift from elementary sectors including agriculture and allied fields to the service sectors Mukti is focused to enable the aspiring youths for opportunities in the emerging areas associated with digital adoption for the Sundarbans and other rural areas of the state

03. How the project is?

A dedicated program manager cum placement coordinator is looking after the project where Individuals; normally 18-28 years of age are undergoing Vocational and soft skill Training from subject experts with a designed curriculum.The implementation team is looking after the placements by approaching various private firms and government schemes. Trainees who achieve successful results in Vocational courses will be awarded certificates, qualifying them to join internship programs that promote their career growth

04. What the impact is?

More than 1300+ students got trained since 2016 after completion of vocational and professional training; and among which 150+ students got placement in different organization.
