Play, Laugh, Unite: Mukti’s Sports Fest for Shahoshini and Swastha Shongini

On February 9th, Mukti and the “Kolkata Foundation” organized a fun sports competition for Swastha Shongini and Sahoshini members at Badar Bazar Yubo Moydan, near Raidighi. A total of 52 women happily took part in the event. Beyond the sheer joy it brought them, the primary aim of the competition was to instill confidence, team spirit, and camaraderie among the participants.

The women, working impeccably as a unified team, infused the games with lively energy and enthusiasm. The event consisted of five engaging segments: (1) running in a saree or a formal dress (2) going in and out of a circle (3) book balancing race (4) passing the ball and 5) go as you like.

After a long time, the participants reveled in the opportunity to engage in sporting activities, grateful for the chance to showcase their skills and, more importantly, to come together as a community. The event not only brought joy but also a sense of unity and empowerment among the women, fulfilling the broader objectives of the competition.
