Orthopedic Wellness Event by Mukti SwasthoSongini Members

Mukti organized an orthopedic camp at the Gram Clinic in Mukti Gram, Purba Sridharpur on 3^rd March. The initiative was a joint venture of Mukti and Kolkata Foundation, and was conducted by the West Bengal Orthopedic Association.

The efforts of SwasthoSongini members and the Gram Clinic’s traditional healer, Barun Kumar Kayal, resulted in more than 70 patients from the nearby community receiving relief and treatment at the camp.

Specialist doctors from RG Kar Hospital’s Orthopedic department were there to help, along with a physiotherapist who demonstrated pain management techniques. Mukti provided free medicine to all the patients.

Mukti and the beneficiaries of the camp thanked the Kolkata Foundation and the West Bengal Orthopedic Association for making the event possible. The collaborative effort not only addressed the immediate health concerns of the community but also served as an example of how partnerships can create positive change in the realm of public health.
