The government of India has declared this year’s theme as “Viksit Bharat” or “Developed India.” As part of this national celebration, Mukti’s various projects showcased the organization’s steadfast commitment to societal development and the true essence of freedom.
Mukti took the opportunity to raise awareness and deepen public consciousness about the true meaning of freedom through its diverse initiatives. In Narkeldanga, Mukti’s HOPE team, along with 30 community leaders and Mukti staff, organized a special Independence Day program. They engaged 34 children from the HOPE project in an interactive session on health as a human right, personal hygiene, nutrition, and child rights, followed by games and activities for the children.
Additionally, 5-7 Swastho Shongini members participated in a program at the Gram clinic, while others conducted door-to-door visits in their blocks, gathering local women to hoist the national flag together.
