MUKTI Support Schools (MSS) are currently conducting the first summative test (ST1) of the year, an essential part of their yearly evaluation process. The summative tests, which are held three times annually, help assess students’ academic progress and guide the teaching-learning process.
ST1 serves as a critical tool for teachers, providing valuable data on students’ understanding and learning styles. This data enables educators to tailor their teaching methods and adjust lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students. The assessment also acts as a means of accountability, allowing MSS to evaluate the effectiveness of their support schools and identify areas for improvement.
For students, the summative test is a chance to identify their strengths and weaknesses, helping them focus on areas that need more attention. It encourages a reflective approach to learning and empowers students to take ownership of their academic progress. Additionally, the feedback provided by teachers after the test guides students toward better learning outcomes and ensures they stay on track.
By conducting regular assessments like ST1, MSS ensures that both students and teachers are engaged in a process of growth and development, ultimately working towards improved academic outcomes and a brighter future for all learners.
