Mukti Stalls on the 2nd State AGM of ASFHM

On 18th and 19th December 2021 on the occasion of the 2nd state-level AGM of ASFHM Mukti has put up 4 stalls in the school premises of Krishnachandrapur High School. These 4 stalls are – General, Education, Agriculture and MCDF (Mukti Community Development Fund). Moreover, 1,000 people visit these stalls for two days.

Mukti staffs, field members, project coordinators, advisors – altogether 30 “Mukti Sathi” are there in the stalls to help the visitors according to their needs.

The objectives of stalling are to create mass communication, raise awareness about the cause and work of Mukti, and obtain the resources.

General Stall

This stall has been put up to brief the visitors about the various activities and projects of Mukti. Especially to help the Headmaster and Headmistresses to make them understand how they can create their own campaigns through the Mukti campaign portal. Many Headmasters and Headmistresses have activated their campaign right at the stall. An LED screen has been set up to illustrate the projects of Mukti to the visitors. Ms. Monami Mitra- Mukti HR and Ms. Ankita Kothiyal – Lead CSR- Strategy & Communication are operating the stall.

Education Stall

Mukti set up the education stall with an LED screen to give an idea about the MSS (Mukti Support School) to the Headmasters and Headmistresses of ASFHM. In this stall, Ms. Srijita Sarkar – Program Manager Consultant-Education, Ms. Shreya Bose – TSS Assistant and Mr. Bimal Khan – Project Coordinator of MSS have explained to the visitors how Mukti set up its first MSS, how the teachers operate the schools, how the teachers of MSS help the distressed students to stay focused in their studies etc. With them, 2 MSS teachers, Mr. Raja Naskar- teacher of Gilarchat MSS, Mr. Debnath Halder – teacher of Sontikari MSS and 3 TSS (Talented Student Sponsorship) students, Sulekha Jatuya (pursuing English (H) from Rabindra Bharati University), Soumitra Mistry (pursuing B.Tech 3rd year from Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology) and Soubhik Halder (pursuing PDH from IIEST Shibpur) is present at the stall. Visitors come to know the real-life stories of these achievers.

The members of ASFHM are told that if they could raise funds to open a support school in their area, Mukti would raise funds for them to open another. They will have to enroll students and appoint teachers. Mukti will appoint HR, admin and will provide them all kinds of advisory and administrative support.

Visitors are informed about the structure of the self-help group, what subjects they are trained on, how to get help from the bank etc. Mukti has promised to help interested entrepreneurs with might and main.

Visitors are very happy after visiting the stalls of Mukti. They said they have learned a lot. Mukti staffers helped them to gain knowledge about various projects of Mukti. They will be eager to work on these projects in their respective areas for the underprivileged people. With the help of Mukti, they will surely get success.

Mukti thanks ASFHM for inviting Mukti as a guest of honor at the ASFHM event and hopes that in the future these two organizations would continue to serve the poor in the same way.
