Mukti has installed 400 new LED street lights in the uncovered habitations of Purba Sridharpur which Mukti wants to introduce as model village in the eyes of the world.
Street lighting is an essential community asset that helps improve security in rural areas, provides brighter lighting experience with one-fourth of watt required in normal lights and have also longer lifespan.
In the month of August, Mukti installed 9 feet long 3 electric poles having 4 lights of 20 Watt each at Mukti SAM office, Mukti library ground and Ramkrishna Bazar. This month Mukti fixed 400 more street lights. These 60 Watt LED lights are brightening approximately 643.45 hectares area of Purba Sridharpur. 6,500 people of Purba Sridharpur and adjacent areas are getting benefitted by these lights.
Mukti will install 100 more such lights in near future.
