Mukti Fresh Store Debuts at Newtown Organic Haat

Mukti Fresh, Mukti’s enterprise for organic vegetables, fish, and meat, opened its first store in Newtown Organic Haat, Kolkata, near the Biswabangla Gate on October 17, 2023. The opening ceremony was graced by the former agriculture minister Mr. Purnendu Basu, MP Ms. Dola Sen, and Agriculture Marketing Minister Mr. Becharam Manna.

The West Bengal government has set up shop space in the organic market to help 34 local farmers who practice organic farming. This initiative has given local farmers a chance to display and sell their produce in designated shops at the organic market, and Mukti Fresh’sstore is one among these. These shops sell vegetables grown by organic farming methods using organic compost. People who love fresh and diverse produce can enjoy what this hub offers. It is open from 7 am to 7 pm, providing a wide range of nourishing options all day long.
