Continuing its commitment to community well-being, Mukti once again made its mark at the annual fair in Purbasridharpur by distributing clean and safe drinking water under its long-running initiative, Mukto-Dhara.
The Mukto-Dhara project, which has been operational for several years, focuses on providing potable water to the people of the Sundarbans—an area that often struggles with access to safe drinking water due to high salinity and limited infrastructure. At this year’s fair, visitors were seen collecting cups and bottles of cool, purified water from Mukti’s dedicated distribution stall, a small yet vital gesture in the heat and crowd of the festive gathering.
The fair, which brings together locals from nearby villages to celebrate with food, crafts, and cultural programs, offered Mukti another opportunity to connect with the people it serves—not just through welfare initiatives, but also through moments of shared joy and support.
As Mukti continues to expand the reach of Mukto-Dhara across the Sundarbans, its presence at events like these serves as a reminder that small acts of service can leave a lasting impact.
