MUKTI in association with “Nagendrapur Ramkrishna Mission” and supported by “Jan Shikshan Sansthan” under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India organized a counseling session on plumbing on 1st November 2021 Monday at Uttar Kankandighi MSS (Mukti Support School).
The program provides vocational skills to non-literate, neo-literates as well as school drop-outs by identifying skills that have a relevant market in the region of their establishment. The objective of the program is to uplift the rural population economically by imparting essential skills development training, thereby enabling local trades to grow and creating new opportunities for the natives of the region.
On 9th October counseling on electronics was done. 20 trainees are now learning to work on electronics.
25 unemployed youth interested in doing plumbing work participated in the counseling session. Mr. Madhusudhan Bairagi, Mr. Raguunath Bairagi, Mr. Dharma Raj Naskar from MUKTI along with the trainer Mr. Debkumar Mondal from Nagendrapur Ramkrishna Mission conduct the counseling sessions.
What the program offers:
Observing their enthusiasm, MUKTI and Nagendrapur Ramakrishna Mission had selected all 25 of them for the training.
