While the cyclonic intensity diminished into a marked low-pressure zone after a span of two days, regions in states like Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha persisted in experiencing relentless downpours. Floods and waterlogging continue to afflict numerous districts in Tamil Nadu, rendering several suburban areas submerged and disrupting the routine lives of its inhabitants.
