Mukti Annual Report 2012-2013
Our achievements are many. We supported about 5,500 students with books in Sunderban through our Book Bank Project. Micro credit was available to 1,092 Self Help Group (SHG) members (women) through a project to help them gain livelihood. 500 farmers were educated about organic agriculture. 1,045 school students en-rolled in Mukti’s coaching centers to improve their knowledge and achieve better results. 70 under-privileged students were sponsored through Mukti’s Talented Students Sponsorship (TSS) project to continue their higher edu-cation. 230 students at-tended our special coach-ing center project. 200,000 saplings of fruits, wood and coconut were planted in Sunderban. Residents of two Gram Panchayats were made aware of the RTI Act.
