Modernizing Farming: Mukti’s Electric Sprayer Initiative

On November 2nd, 2023, Mukti distributed electric sprayers to 150 progressive organic farmers in the Nagendrapur and Kankandighi Gram Panchayet regions. Until now, these farmers had been laboriously applying bio-pesticides and liquid fertilizers using manual hand sprayers, a method that not only drained their energy but also consumed a significant amount of their precious time.

A response to the organic farming community’s requests for support in transitioning to more efficient and sustainable farming practices, this initiative brought smiles to the faces of these hardworking individuals and opened the door to a more promising future for sustainable agriculture in the region.

With the distribution of electric sprayers, Mukti not only lightened the load for these farmers but also empowered them with a tool that promises increased productivity, reduced physical strain, and more precise application of bio-pesticides and liquid fertilizers. The switch to electric sprayers will play a major role in making organic practices in the region more feasible and sustainable.
