Chandrachur Chatterjee is leading the Environment initiative of Mukti. Chandrachur is associated with Mukti for past 10 months focusing on developing framework and showcasing Mukti’s capability towards Carbon / Green Credit generation through Mangrove Reforestation, Organic Farming and Sustainable Housing project undertaken by Mukti.
As an IT professional Chandrachur performed multiple leadership roles for past 34 years across the globe. Inspired by Mukti’s people and sustainability focused philosophy, achievements and leadership vision Chandrachur joined Mukti and hope to make meaningful contribution. In his personal life, Chandrachur is very much an outdoor person, loves adventure road trips and baking/cooking.

Dr. Souvik Lal Chakraborty, a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist, currently works as an Evaluation Coordinator at Whittlesea Community Connections, a place-based NGO in Melbourne. In his role, Souvik focuses on enhancing evaluation and learning strategies through qualitative methods, storytelling, and trauma-informed practices.

With a strong background in project management, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), Souvik excels at designing and implementing various systems to deliver high-quality results and reports. This expertise enables him to improve program implementation by designing, updating, and overseeing MEL plans, developing custom monitoring tools, conducting periodic data review sessions to inform program learning and adaptation, and performing data quality assessments to ensure the validity and reliability of data.

Souvik has over 10 years of experience in the tertiary education sector, having worked in India, Germany, and Australia. After completing his Ph.D. in 2022, he worked as a Lecturer of Development Studies at Monash University, where he also served as the interim Director of the Master of International Development Practice program. Souvik is closely associated with Mukti where he leads and manages Mukti’s activities within the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). In his leisure time, Souvik indulges in reading, cooking, and playing his harmonica. Additionally, he is an avid numismatist.

Mr. Anindya Sen is a retired banker working in different executive positions both in liabilities and assets segments. He is associated with Mukti for last 12 yrs as a volunteer and looks after few projects, where Mukti has been partnering with Govt/Pvt organizations

Supriya Bandyopadhyay is currently looking after the publications and communications related activities pertaining to operations of Mukti.
Supriya is an Electrical Engineer from Jadavpur University and has retired a couple of years back after serving a reputed Central Public Sector Undertaking for more than three decades holding responsible positions. His desire to contribute and give back to the society has brought him to Mukti about a year back when he was looking for ways to continue to serve the society in a collective manner rather than individually, attempted so far.
Mukti’s holistic and passionate approach to create changes in the society, specially in the rural sector and his interactions with some of the dedicated members of Mukti were instrumental in his getting involved with the organization.
Supriya loves creative writing, literature, music, sports. Father of a loving daughter, he loves spending time with his family and travelling expands his horizons.

Chandan Kumar Maiti, Headmaster of Krishnachandrapur High School.
In the heart of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Chandan Kumar Maiti, the dedicated Headmaster and Secretary of Krishnachandrapur High School, is making a name for himself as a champion of education and social welfare. Located in Mathurapur, the school has benefited greatly from Maiti’s tireless efforts to provide quality education and support to his students. Maiti’s commitment to his community extends far beyond the classroom. He has been instrumental in organizing training programs, such as the Nursing Assistants Training initiative, which has empowered local women with valuable skills and knowledge. As a respected figure in his community, Maiti continues to inspire and motivate those around him. His selfless dedication to the well-being and education of his students has earned him recognition as a true local hero.

Bani Maiti, the current president of Mukti USA chapter, has been associated with Mukti since 2020. He resides in California with his family. Bani is a technologist & entrepreneur. Bani completed his undergrad from Jadavpur University and graduated from Indian Statistical Institute. His passion is to enable and empower the needy, which drew him to Mukti. Besides being a spokesperson of Mukti activities to the US patrons, and sponsoring an Integrated Development project for his roots in Egra-Sahara (Purba Medinipur), Bani participates in other Mukti projects in various capacities.

Abir is an IT cum Telecom Portfolio and Account Service Delivery Executive with 24 years of experience in each of the six critical management areas within the realm of System Integration & Application Management Services – [a] Project/Program/Portfolio Management, [b]Transformation Management, [c] Pre-Sales Bid Solutions Management, [d] Operations Management, [e] Domain & Competence Management and [f] People Management. Abir has played a spectrum of leadership, specialist and organization administrative roles while executing Transformation, Engineering, Development, Maintenance & Support, Solution upgrade, Cloud Migration, and Digital Transformation engagements for global customers.

Dr. Kasturi Bakshi is leading the Health interventions of the organization.
Dr. Kasturi Bakshi is a senior medical practitioner. She is a founder member and Executive Secretary of KINSPARC (Kalyani Institute for Study, Planning and Action for Rural Change) aimed at conducting programs for research, training, and development to improve the quality of life. Uttam Mukherjee is responsible for the Board Governance and Environment wing of Mukti.
Uttam is one of the founder members of Mukti in Australia. He is a values driven person and hence his commitment to be part of Mukti for the last 14 years. He believes that he can make use of his professional expertise in the corporate sector, in India and Australia, for the benefit of the work Mukti is doing. His recent professional career in Australia has been in leadership roles within risk management, strategy and business continuity. As one passionate about the Arts, he has made films – short and feature; this skill he has used in making films from time to time about Mukti. The continuous stream of positive stories of beneficiaries is a huge motivation for him to continue to be with Mukti.

Debabrata Halder is a dynamic individual with a rich academic and professional background. Holding a PGDM (MBA) from IIM Trichy and a Young India Fellow from Ashoka University, he complements his business acumen with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University. With a solid foundation in corporate environments, including a significant six-year stint at Cognizant, Debabrata made a deliberate shift to the social sector driven by a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact on society. His journey reflects a fusion of strategic business insights and a genuine passion for societal well-being, showcasing a holistic approach to personal and professional development.
