From Aspiration to Achievement: Dr. Rahul Mandal’s Inspiring Path

Dr. Rahul Mandal, a determined young man from Dalkhola in Uttar Dinajpur, has turned his dream of becoming a doctor into reality—thanks to perseverance, hard work, and timely support from Mukti.

After completing his schooling at Rahara Ramakrishna Mission Balak Ashram, Rahul cracked NEET in 2019 and joined Kolkata National Medical College. Despite his academic success, financial hardships threatened to derail his medical journey.

In 2022, a friend introduced him to Mukti. Rahul applied for a scholarship and was selected. Over 15 months, he received the scholarship five times, significantly easing his financial burden. This support, in collaboration with Lipilekha Bengali Association, allowed him to focus on his studies and internship.

Now aspiring to specialize in Gynecology, Rahul is deeply grateful to Mukti. “Their help gave me strength when I needed it most,” he says. He hopes to give back by supporting other students like himself in the future.
