Ongoing professional development is essential for Mukti Support School (MSS) teachers to remain up-to-date with best practices and effectively address emerging challenges. Mukti’s teacher-training programs integrate local languages, cultures, and contexts into the curriculum, ensuring that learning is both relevant and engaging for students. On March 2nd 2025 (Sunday), Mukti organized an orientation program for educational volunteers in the Sagar Cluster (South 24 PGS), focusing on effective teaching methods, classroom management strategies, and assessment techniques tailored to diverse adolescent learners.
Forty teachers from eight MSS schools participated, gaining valuable insights into the different stages of development, learning styles, and motivational strategies. This knowledge is essential for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, particularly for the most underprivileged students in remote villages. The session was held at Khansaheb Abad High School, near Ganga Sagar. In addition to teaching strategies, the training emphasized the importance of building strong relationships with parents, community leaders, and other stakeholders to cultivate a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
