Community Health Camp: Mukti and Baghirathi Neotia Hospital’s Collaborative Initiative

Mukti, in association with Baghirathi Neotia Hospital, organized a community health camp on April 12th, 2024, at Ghoradolpur Bazar in Mathurapur Block II, South 24 Parganas district. This initiative bore the mandate of providing access to fundamental healthcare resources to disadvantaged sections of society.

Guided by the SwasthoSongini members and the healthcare providers from Mukti Gram Clinic, the camp successfully catered to 122 individuals from neighboring communities. With two skillful general physicians and a team of supportive personnel, a primary health evaluation was performed. This consisted of random blood sugar tests, blood pressure screenings, and height-weight measurements to gauge overall health status.

In instances where intervention was deemed necessary, personalized follow-up treatments were prescribed, ensuring continuity of care beyond the camp’s confines. Furthermore, complimentary medications, based on doctors’ recommendations, were disbursed to the patients, alleviating their financial burden while prioritizing their well-being.

Mukti extends profound gratitude to Baghirathi Neotia Hospital and the physicians who generously dedicated their expertise to serve the marginalized populace.
