On 6th January 2024, the Mukti Education team organized a drawing competition for the students of Krishnachandrapur School within the school premises as part of the “Sundarban Agriculture, Education, Handicrafts, and Environment Fair 2024.”
Thirty-nine students participated across three groups. The 12 participants in Group A were students of classes III to IV and were free to draw on any topic. Group B was intended for students of classes V to VIII, and the 26 participants were tasked with depicting their natural environment, encouraging a deeper awareness of their ecological surroundings. Group C, for classes IX and X, saw a solitary participant, who was asked to craft either a portrait of a bustling urban lifestyle or to pencil sketch a compelling character.
The winners of the competition were declared as follows:
Group A
1st Place: Sariya Khatun (Class III) from PaschimBagda F.P. School
2nd Place: Debi Halder (Class III) from Purba Shridharpur Paschimpara Mukti Kishalaya School
3rd Place: Bilas Gayen (Class IV) from Purba Shridharpur Uttarpara Mukti Kishalaya School
Group B
1st Place: Mousam Parvin (Class VIII) from Diamond Harbour Girls School
2nd Place: Saheba Sheikh (Class VI) from Krishnachandrapur High School
3rd Place: Megha Naiya (Class VIII) from Krishnachandrapur High School
Group C
Merina Piyada (Class X) from Krishnachandrapur High School
The event celebrated the beautiful qualities of artistic imagination, expression, creativity, and ingenuity as a fitting event within the educational fair.
