Blossoming Freedom: Mukti’s 77th Independence Day Sapling Plantation Endeavor

With the ambitious goal of planting 100,000 saplings, Mukti embarked on a remarkable plantation campaign on the eve of the 77th Independence Day in 2023. The inaugural act took place at Mukti Gram, PurbaSridharpur, where 10,000 saplings were ceremoniously placed into the earth. This vibrant initiative extended its roots across a vast expanse, encompassing PurbaSridharpur – Purbapara, Paschimpara, Sarkarara, Samantapara, Baradanagar- Muslimpara, Milon more, and Nagendrapur – Simultala.

Mukti’s strategic approach included the identification of about 15 key locations within Mukti Gram for the expansive plantation endeavor. These areas were allocated to dedicated supervisors. Working in synergy with their diligent teams and Mukti Sathis, these supervisors commenced the plantation mission promptly at 6:30 a.m. In a touching gesture, each household in the designated zones received saplings of flowering and Patabahar plants, fostering a sense of collective responsibility for the environment.

 

The campaign, which resonated with the villagers, transformed into a joyful event. As the sun rose, so did the spirits of the local inhabitants, who fully embraced the opportunity to participate. Their infectious enthusiasm created an occasion worth witnessing, amplifying the significance of the event.
