Mukti on March 27th, 2024, was honored as the recipient of the prestigious HCL Grand Edition IX. Mukti’s proposal stood out among 1,200+ submissions.

Mukti has a UN Special Consultative Status and is supported by more than 120+ enterprises from all over the world. Mukti became the 1st organization in West Bengal and 3rd in India to get listed under NSE- Social Stock Exchange.

Mukti has won the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Social Impact Award 2023 in two categories: one for the Cyclone Tolerant House in the Environment category, and another for the Swabalamban Accelerator in Sundarban (SWAS) project.

Mukti has been granted special consultative status by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations on December 7th, 2022.

MUKTI has been recognized as the number 1 NGO in India for its tremendous work in the field of climate-resilient sustainable agriculture and organic farming by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry)

MUKTI expanded it's reach to other part of West Bengal and helped millions of people at the time of global pandemic.

Mukti started working in the field of disaster response at the time of the onset of the Aila cyclone and has been working tirelessly since then to provide disaster relief to the people of the Sundarbans.

Mukti is a non-profit socio-economic development trust registered under Govt. of India Trust Act 1882, section 64 (Reg. No. – IV-104) dated 9.03.2005

MUKTI was set up in the Sundarbans region of West Bengal by a group of young and energetic people dedicated to human development in every sphere.
