On 20th August 2024, Mukti, in collaboration with Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital, organized a free medical camp for the primary students of Rotary Vivekananda School in Bamon Mollar Chak, Jalaberia, under the Kultali CD block in the South 24 Parganas district. The camp aimed to provide comprehensive health check-ups and raise health awareness among underprivileged students, who otherwise might not have access to medical care unless faced with an emergency.
A total of 230 primary school students from Rotary Vivekananda School attended the camp. Four dedicated physicians from Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital conducted thorough examinations, ensuring that each child received the attention they needed. In addition, free medicines were distributed to all the students. During the check-ups, three children were diagnosed with serious conditions and were promptly referred to Neotia Hospital for further treatment at no cost.
The students and their parents expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, expressing hope that such initiatives would continue to reach their village in the future. Mukti extends its deepest appreciation to the team from Neotia Hospital for their steadfast and selfless support in making this camp a success.
