Like every year Mukti TSS volunteers organised 15th Annual TSS program on 13th December, Sunday between 9-11 am. This year due to Covid-19 pandemic the program was celebrated virtually through Video Conferencing. Sponsors from throughout the world, existing and new students, their parents, Mukti TSS volunteers, staffs, board members joined the meeting.
The meeting started with the recitation of TSS new student Paramita Bera. She recited “Janmabhumi Aaj” written by Birendra Chattopadhay. Her delightful voice touched the hearts of everyone.
One of the existing and sponsored students of Mukti TSS, Monalisa Pandit wrote a poem on Mukti. Being the resident of Kakdwip, she is studying GNM from RAMKRISHNA SARADA MISSION MATRI BHAVAN SCHOOL OF NURSING. She has been receiving support from our donor since 2018.
Mr. Sankar Halder, the president and founder of Mukti introduced our respected supporters from US. They have been associated with Mukti TSS for a long time and their immense support and encouragement had helped lots of students to achieve their dreams. Today also they are helping the needy but talented students to achiever their goals. He clarified about the 100 days program that Mukti launched recently for the TSS students. Through this program the TSS students are encouraged to educate other students who are poor but still want to study, students can attend any seminar, they can write any lecture or even can engage themselves in any social work.
Mr. Asis Halder, secretary of Mukti, appreciated the efforts of the students.Despite of such adverse pandemic situation, Mukti TSS students had performed very well.He thanked the sponsors to stand by the side of the students so that they can continue their studies. He added that 120-150 students get sponsored every year. This year also Mukti has 100 existing and 50-60 new students. Mukti TSS has become so successful that students from outside Bengal are also showing interests to join Mukti TSS. Mukti got 16-17 new sponsors this year.
The CEO of Mukti Fresh, Mr. Debabrata Halder explained how Mukti was formed and how Mukti is working from its time of inception. He told about Mukti formation, mission and vision. 600 + volunteers are working for Mukti. He explained about legal status, experience, women power, office personnel, fund distribution, works at grass root level , rewards and recognitions that Mukti achieved through hard work. Mukti achieved success in every aspects of society – Health, Education, Agriculture, Livelihood, Environment and Rights. He concluded by saying about the TSS program – its starting date, vision, purpose and goal.
Sponsors appreciated the works of Mukti and thanked Mukti to be a part of Mukti TSS program. They were highly impressed about the performances of their sponsored students. The students had glorified them with hard work and eye shining results.
The students as well as their parents expressed their gratitude to the respective sponsors. The sponsors helped them to achieve their dreams. Students felt themselves blessed to have mentors like their sponsors. The students wanted their sponsors to guide them not only till their achievement but in their life also.
New TSS students and their sponsors were introduced in the meeting.
The program concluded with the thanksgiving speech of Mr. Sankar Halder. He thanked all the sponsors and specially the US sponsors who joined the meeting. Mukti is honored to have them as supporters. The program that started 15 years ago is now bearing the sweet fruit of success. Mukti created a transparent platform where the sponsors and their students can chat with each other whenever they want. He thanked all the volunteers and associates, TSS team members engaged with Mukti activities. Finally he thanked all the students and their parents for whom the TSS program was designed. Their belief and acceptance in Mukti had made this program so successful. Mukti wished the students good luck for their future life.
