Mukti is a NSE- Social Stock Exchange listed NGO working for the wellbeing of the marginal and vulnerable people living in the rural parts of West Bengal. As we embark on a phase of consolidation and further growth during the next 5 years, partnering with leading public and private sector corporates and foundations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head – Finance & Compliance to join our team. The selected person will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of the NGO, implementing IT systems & control processes, ensuring statutory compliances and providing strategic financial guidance to the Board. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
1) Develop and oversee financial strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the organization’s goals and regulatory requirements.

Donation Management:
1) Oversee the financial aspects of project proposals, budgets, and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
2) Collaborate with program managers and partnership development team to monitor grant expenditure, track performance metrics, and optimize resource allocation.
Team Leadership and Development:
1) Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
i) A Master’s degree or professional certification in finance (e.g. CA) preferred.
