Debabrata Halder is a dynamic individual with a rich academic and professional background. Holding a PGDM (MBA) from IIM Trichy and a Young India Fellow from Ashoka University, he complements his business acumen with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University. With a solid foundation in corporate environments, including a significant six-year stint at Cognizant, Debabrata made a deliberate shift to the social sector driven by a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact on society. His journey reflects a fusion of strategic business insights and a genuine passion for societal well-being, showcasing a holistic approach to personal and professional development.

Ankita holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Corporate Social Responsibilities. With a commendable tenure of 10 years in the realm of public service, Ankita has consistently showcased her dedication and expertise in various impactful roles.
She served as a District Youth Officer, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, under the UNDP banner. She worked with NABARD, where she emerged as a pioneer in the successful implementation of E Shakti in Uttarakhand District.
In 2020, Ankita brought her experience and passion for social change to Mukti, where she assumed the role of Lead CSR. Since joining the organization, she has been instrumental in steering Mukti towards new heights of success. Her strategic leadership and dedication have been pivotal in registering the organization on various esteemed platforms, including UNECOSOC, NSE-SSE and many more.

Monami Mitra, a graduate with a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management, brings with her a wealth of experience totaling 13 years in the Social Sector. She has played pivotal roles in various capacities, including serving as an Administrator for Education Projects at Calcutta Rescue. Monami has also contributed as a Center Manager in the CSR Skill Development Project of La Martinier SEOMP Society and worked as a Sub-Editor at Loka Kalyan Parishad. Her career began as a Teacher at Sitanath Sishu Shikha Mandir.”
In 2021, Monami brought her expertise and passion for social change to Mukti, where she assumed the role of HR & Admin. Since joining the organization, she has been instrumental in steering Mukti towards new heights of success.

Dr Sandip Ghosh is a postgraduate in Pure Chemistry and PhD in Marine Science from Calcutta University. Have professional experience of over thirty years including Industry and Academia. Industrial experience includes Aquaculture (R&D), Electronic & Advance Material Processing and Development and been granted two patents.
In academia served over two decades as faculty and HOD; also in the capacities of Registrar and Principal for Institutes under MAKAUT, WB. Associated as guest faculty for PG course at Calcutta University for over a decade and served as Joint Supervisor to PhD students. During the last ten years conducted research as a Principal Investigator to Govt. government-sponsored project under East Kolkata Wetland (EKW) on augmentation of sewage decomposition.
In Mukti, presently serving as the Head for Programs under the Education Portfolio including MSS, MKSA, TSS, MIT, MEE, and MA projects
Mr. Ghosh, firmly believes that in Mukti’s vision for change at the grassroots for societal development, all programs under Mukti Education play very important roles as “Education” is the most powerful tool for the Poor to break all barriers.

With a total experience of 14 years, Paramita Panja is a seasoned Cost and Management Accountant. She has garnered over 11 years of expertise in the manufacturing and automobile sectors, excelling in the role of Manager-Accounts. Additionally, Paramita brings 3 years of valuable experience in the social sector as Lead Accountant. Her diverse skill set and strong foundation make her a valuable professional.

Ms Sonamon Bose, done Masters in Social work and a PG Diploma in psychological counseling and have been working in NGO as Program Manager since last ten years with a proven track record of driving successful initiatives and managing impactful programs. She possess a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of nonprofit operations, and have consistently demonstrated the ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization’s mission and goals. Project planning, management, execution, leadership, foresight for resource planning and management, communication are few of my skills which helps to excel in building and nurturing collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, and donors.

Srijita Sarkar, a dedicated team member of Mukti, holds a Master’s in Accounting with 10+ years of experience working in NGOs. She is passionately committed to the MSS program at Mukti. Her cross-functional expertise spans internal and external stakeholder management, strategic project planning, and resource coordination across multiple value chains. Srijita brings strong leadership, effective communication, and comprehensive project management skills, complemented by problem-solving, analytical acumen, budget mapping, and procurement planning abilities. Devoted to advancing Mukti’s mission, especially in uplifting talented students in Sundarban, she is determined to make a lasting socio-economic impact on both the students and society at large.

Nandita is a program manager of the Rights and Awareness program of Mukti holding a Bachelor degree in Anthropology. It is her first job in the Development sector. She joined Mukti in 2021. She and her team are collectively working to facilitate the community members to actively engage in the development process through an inclusive participatory approach. Her contribution is helping to develop different rights-related perspectives among the members of the organization as well as the community people.

Rajashree Dhar is a proficient webpage content developer at Mukti, bringing her expertise to the forefront. Armed with an English (Hons) degree, her journey has been marked by a diverse career trajectory, previously serving as a graphic designer at Camillia International and Berger Paints India Limited for a consecutive span of 4 years.

In her current role as a webpage content developer, Rajashree plays a pivotal role in the strategic curation of compelling content. Her forte lies in crafting content that not only engages but also informs and resonates with the target audience. She adeptly aligns her work with the website’s objectives and branding, ensuring that each piece of content reflects the essence of Mukti’s vision and goals. Rajashree’s multifaceted background enriches her ability to create content that captivates and drives the audience’s interest, contributing significantly to Mukti’s online presence and success.

Ujjwal Maity, having completed a Master’s in Rural Studies & Community Development, is a competent and diligent professional with a decade of proven excellence. He has successfully led Livelihood and Government projects, providing guidance and mentorship to teams. His expertise includes Operations Management and extensive experience in working with NGOs in remote locations.

Basudev Sardar, a Retired Officer of a Nationalised Organisation. Joined MCDF, a project of Mukti in October 2023 as an in-charge and is responsible for its growth and seamless functioning. The aim is to empower women through the Self-Help Group and also the Business Help Group. Initially, the project was for the people of Sundarban, now working for the people of the entire Bengal with the aim of spreading the Gospels of Mukti throughout the length and breadth of the country.

She is an experienced educator with a rich background in Physics teaching and school leadership. With a Ph.D. in High Energy Particle Physics and a Bachelor of Education degree, she’s devoted to sparking her students’ passion for Physics and nurturing critical thinking. As a Principal, she contributes to overall institutional development, creating an optimal learning environment. Her commitment extends beyond academics; she shapes well-rounded individuals and empowers them for the future. Currently involved with Mukti, an NGO focusing on socio-economic development in remote West Bengal villages, she enjoys singing, reading, doodling, and family time outside work.
