01. Why the Project is ?
  • MSS educational volunteers and volunteers support underprivileged adolescent students through interactive classes.
  • MSS aims to reach more students for bridging the learning gap, to promote education, and reduce school dropouts.
  • MUKTI introduces mandatory activity based lessons on Value Education, organic farming, environmental awareness , yoga, and engages students in activities for social awareness. In 2025, an extra day is being dedicated for these above to imbibe the values among the young and most vulnerable adolescent students.
  • The goal is to build a responsive society by imparting holistic education to all, including the deprived sections.
02. What the project is ?

MUKTI launched the Mukti Support School (MSS) to provide basic education facilities to underprivileged adolescent students and fast generation learners who tend to drop out fast in the formal school system because of a huge learning gap.

  • MSS offers affordable supplementary education coaching to government school students.
  • The program aims to enhance academic performance through well-educated youth who receive training.
  • MSS creates employment opportunities and reduces the financial burden for parents.
  • It addresses the dropout problem in rural areas.
03. How the Project is?

Students from class V to X are taught five days a week, three hours daily, through specialized interactive classes with individual care.
• Teacher-student ratio is maintained under 1:25.
• Three summative tests are conducted throughout the year as preparatory practice.
• Parent-Teachers Meetings are held to share assessment reports and discuss progressive development on life skills.
• Regularity of classes and quality of education are monitored through structured reports.
• Continuous improvement of quality and teacher training are prioritized for sustainability.
• Special coaching is provided for board examinees and National/State level scholarship exams.

04. Where the project is?

Mathurapur-I, Mathurapur II, Jaynagar-II, Mandirbazar, Magrahat 1, Kultali, Patharpratima, Canning I, Basanti, Namkhana, Kakdwip, Sagar, Coastal,, Gosaba, Basanti, Kulpi under Sunderban and South 24PGS districts; Kolaghat, Egra, Datan I, Datan II blocks under the districts of East & West Medinipur and Gopiballavpur –II, Binpur 1, Nayagram, Sankrail under the district of Jhargram and Bagnan under Howrah district. In 2025, New MSS are coming up in Sandeshkhali (North 24 PGS), Talberia (Purulia), Shyamakata (Purulia) and Jharmatiyali (Lataguri)

 

05. What the impact is?

Over 450 qualified teachers are empowered annually.
