Building Safer Futures In Jhargram

In Jhargram, many adolescents face risks such as harassment, early marriage, abuse, and limited awareness of their rights. While safeguarding systems exist, students often do not know how to access them — and boys are rarely included in meaningful discussions on safety and gender equality. Suraksha Songlap is a school-based initiative designed to create safe, structured spaces where girls and boys learn, reflect, and take shared responsibility for building respectful and secure school environments.

MKSS Education for Every Child

The Mukti Kishalaya Support School (MKSS) is a community-based education initiative that provides foundational academic support to children from Class I–IV. By engaging educated yet unemployed women as teachers, MKSS strengthens children’s learning while creating dignified livelihood opportunities for women. MKSS is being introduced in urban communities — not just as a learning centre, but as a warm, caring space designed to reduce these learning gaps and restore lost confidence. It is a space filled with patience, encouragement, and hope.

Mukti Support School

To support the underprivileged children through coaching classes

Mukti started Mukti Support School (MSS) with the aim to help the children who are deprived of basic education facilities. MSS is supplementary education coaching support to Government school students for better result in their study with minimal fees engaging well educated youth. MSS teachers along with other volunteers supporting the underprivileged children to fulfill the purpose of MSS. MSS aimed to attract more students to school and also help in reducing school dropouts. According to a government report, the dropout rate at the secondary school level in India is more than 17%, while the dropout rate at upper-primary (VI to VIII) and primary level is 1.8% and 1.5%.

Plant A Tree

In Bengal, the green cover has decreased by 1% in the last two years. In fact, Kolkata has lost 30% of its green cover in the last 10 years, making it one of the most polluted cities in India with a severe AQI. We are determined to act and make a difference. We believe in the power of unity and collaboration to drive positive change. With our commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation, we are excited to introduce a unique initiative where MUKTI and TCS team joins hands together to plant a tree in the society where Senior Managers give trees to their subordinates and subordinates will give it to the society, making a positive impact on the environment.

Cyclone Tolerant House

Donate a Cyclone-flood tolerant house to the people of Sundarbans

Sundarbans delta area is highly vulnerable to cyclones. Each year the destruction due to cyclones is estimated to be around 2 % of GDP. The area has witnessed 4 Cyclones (Fani, Bulbul, Amphan, Yaas) in a short span of 2 years causing severe damages to the houses. The people at the Sundarbans can not afford the Pucca houses, better quality of material, lack of knowledge and awareness. Thus MUKTI along with NABC/CAB decided to create prototypes of Cyclone Tolerant House.

#Run4SafeFood: Support Organic Farmers

Support the Farmers Who are Producing Organic Foods for You!

These farmers sacrificed a lot initially because of the very low yield of crops, which is very natural at the start of the organic way of producing vegetables. They could not feed enough to their children during those days, but took the responsibility for feeding the world with poison-free food!

Protect Sundarbans by Planting Mangroves

Crowdfunding to Support Mukti's Community Clinic Project

Mangroves give protection to the coastline and minimize disasters due to cyclones and tsunami. They act as shock absorbers and reduces high tides and waves and help to prevent soil erosion. Over time, these mangroves are destroyed by human interferences. Let us come together and build this mangrove once again.
