Seeds of Learning — MKSS Education for Every Child
Campaign Location: 17, Raja Dinendra St, Sector-1, Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal – 700009.
Campaign Overview:
In a city full of lights, flyovers, and fast-moving dreams like Kolkata, it’s easy to assume every child has access to opportunity. But behind the busy streets and tall buildings, many little learners quietly struggle — unable to keep pace in school, lacking guidance at home, and slowly losing confidence. At the same time, many educated women in these very neighbourhoods are waiting for a chance — a chance to teach, to earn, to lead, and to make a difference.
The Mukti Kishalaya Support School (MKSS) is a community-based education initiative that provides foundational academic support to children from Class I–IV. By engaging educated yet unemployed women as teachers, MKSS strengthens children’s learning while creating dignified livelihood opportunities for women.
MKSS is being introduced in urban communities — not just as a learning centre, but as a warm, caring space designed to reduce these learning gaps and restore lost confidence. It is a space filled with patience, encouragement, and hope.

Creates dignified livelihoods for educated local women, providing income, confidence, and purpose.
