How can I feature my campaign in front page?

Front page featuring of campaign is totally decision of MUKTI based on need of supporting the project. However, if you would like to feature your campaign, you can send a request to campaign@muktiweb.org

How can I edit my campaign name, category etc. once approved?

Once you login and go to your dashboard, you can edit almost all information of the campaign. Here is the short video which shows how edit name, category etc.

How can I update the details of the campaign?

You can update the details of campaign after logging in to your dashboard.


How to upload photos in campaign?

Once campaign is created and approved, photos can be uploaded by accessing campaign from dashboard. You can upload maximum 10 photos. Please ensure to upload relevant photos which helps to give an idea about the cause for which you are raising fund. We have zero tolerance for copyright infringement and improper photos.

Once campaign is running if I wish to provide few updates, is it possible?

Yes, from dashboard -> campaign, you can provide periodical updates. It will capture date of posting and show that under your campaign. Here is a how to guide for the same.

Can donors communicate with me with their queries?

Donors can communicate with campaign raiser by accessing communication tab of campaign page. As campaign raiser, you can see all responses by logging in to your dashboard. Any communication posted, needs to be approved by campaign raiser and he/she can post response to it.

How long will the campaign run for?

Campaign has an end date. End date of the campaign is set by campaigner who creates the campaign. It can be updated anytime by campaigner by logging in to his/her dashboard.

Can I edit my campaign once submitted and approved?

Campaign can be edited from dashboard at any time by logging in to your account. 

How can I edit my campaign?

After creating campaign you can edit it by going in Dashboard. Here is a short video on how to access the dashboard.

Can I edit my story after campaign submission?

Yes, it can be edited anytime from dashboard after login in.

Can we restart a fundraiser once it has stopped?

Yes. For more details please write us at campaign@muktiweb.org

How to Initiate a Campaign?

Please visit the Mukti campaign link https://muktiweb.org/campaign/ and click on Start a Fundraise option. Kindly give a name and feed details of the campaign. Click on the submit button.

What information do I need to provide while setting up a fundraiser campaign?

If you are from outside India it's mandatory to give your email id & if your are from India you can give either phone number or email id.

What is the minimum target amount for any fundraiser campaign?

The minimum target amount of a campaign is 10,000 INR. or 500 USD. There is no limit for maximum amount to be raised using the campaign.

How to login to MUKTI Campaign portal?

In order to login to MUKTI campaign portal, you need to have either phone number of email id. No password is needed. Login takes place with one time password sent to your mobile number or email id.

I stay outside India. Can I use my mobile number to login to this site?

OTP is only delivered to Indian phone number. So, if you stay outside India, please use your email id to register and use same email id for future login. 

I forgot my login password. How do I login?

Due to enhanced security there is no fixed password. Every time login takes place with One Time Password (OTP) shared to your mobile or email id as per your choice and registration.

What is MUKTI campaign?

Mukti campaign is a fund raising platform for various causes of MUKTI and other non profit organizations. You can support the noble cause by donating to any existing campaign or by creating a campaign and circulating the campaign link among your friends & family.

What are the causes supported by MUKTI?

While MUKTI supports many causes for an integrated development of our society, here are few areas where currently MUKTI is working - Health, Education, Environment, Agriculture(organic farming),Women Empowerment, Livelihood, Rights & awareness, Covid -19, Disaster Response, Model Village.

Where is my donation going when I donate through this platform?

Your donation is directly going for the cause in which it is donated. If you want to get any update, you always welcome to visit our sites or simply ask for the utilization details by sending email to info@muktiweb.org.

Will I get tax benefit if donation is made to MUKTI?

If you are an Indian taxpayer, you can avail the applicable tax exemption for donations made to us based on 80G rule. If you are a US taxpayer, you can avail the applicable tax exemption for donations made to us through 501(c)(3) as per Government rule.

When shall I get the receipt of my donation?

If your donation transaction is successful, the system generated donation receipt will be delivered to you within 24 hours. If you have not received your donation, please send an email to campaign@muktiweb.org requesting the same.

Can I have my tax id (e.g. PAN) mentioned in donation receipt?

Yes. MUKTI do not collect your tax id during payment transaction. So, the system generated donation receipt will not have your tax id mentioned. However, if you want to include your tax id in donation receipt, please send us an email campaign@muktiweb.org. We will re-send your donation receipt with your given tax id.

Is my donation eligible for tax exemption?

As MUKTI is registered with Government of India Trust Act Sec 64, 12A, 80G. Any donation in India and Indian currency is 50% tax deductible under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act of Government of India. 

Donation in USD from USA is also eligible for 501(C) tax exemption. While donating we have different tax exemption options. Please select appropriate tax exemption option to avail the same. 

Can I donate in other currency than Indian Rupees?

Yes, you can donate in any currency. However if you are in US and want tax exemption, you need to select appropriate tax exemption option while donating. 

I do not want to make an online donation. Are there other payment options?

Yes. The other offline mode of donation is mentioned here - https://muktiweb.org/donate-info/ . However, we do not encourage offline donation due to transparency which is our top most focus. 

While donating the amount got debited from my bank account/card but I was shown a message that my payment didn't go through. What should i do?

Please send an email to campaign@muktiweb.org. We will help you to know the current status. I may take 5 working days to correct these type of issues in our website.

Until when can I donate?

As long as campaign is active, you can donate. How long campaign will run, it is decided by campaigner who creates the campaign.

How do you accept donation in USD ?

We accept USD donation in two ways:

1) We have registered partner MUKTI Inc. registered in US. All donation paid in USD and selected 501(c) tax exemption while donating, are processed through our US partner. 

2) If donated in US currency and NOT selected for US tax exemption, then donation processed through MUKTI India organization and donation comes to our FCRA account. 

Who is MUKTI

Though a young institution of 17+ years, MUKTI, a non-profitable socio-economic organization, working for Sundarbans people in the Delta region of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India, has accumulated a lot of accolades. It is registered with the Government of India Trust Act Sec 64, Ministry of Corporate Affairs under CSR form 1, 12AA, 80G, TISS, FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976) and ISO certifications in 2005 and is also supported by 74+ enterprises.

Sundarbans has been the most underprivileged among the whole of South 24 parganas district and yet holds a place in the geographical map of the world and inquisitiveness among a lot of people residing out of Sundarbans because of its diversity and cultural richness amidst all the adversities.  It was in the year 2003 when a few enthusiastic young minds of Sundarbans became determined to redress some of the most intrinsic problems involving education and health. They decided to involve the educated and energetic local youth in the various community development projects. These youths gradually started developing the vision and finally laid the foundation of MUKTI. The local people supported them in this quench and the services continued and grew every year paving its way for a sustainable development for these marginalized people. 


The organization has been working intensively in the Delta region of North and South 24 Parganas, West Bengal since its inception in 2003, covering almost 50,000 households, 30,000 SHG women, 3500 children in almost 54 Gram Panchayats with an objective is to uplift the grassroots who are in penury, social exclusion and myriad discrimination and are extremely vulnerable to climate hazards like strong storms, cyclic cyclone and frequent dreadful disasters adding to resource dearth, penury, vulnerability and violence.


The organization has provided scholarships to more than 2000 students for higher studies, planted 2.5 lac mangrove, created and provided livelihood opportunities to the local people. The commendable job by the team has been broadcasted by ‘BBC Worldwide service’ and the ‘Dadagiri’ show. The organization has received various accolades like Best organization in climate resilience category by FICCI, Vivek Samman award, Star of Asia award, Bharat Excellence award, Krishi Ratna, APJ Abdul Kalam award, True legend award by Telegraph, AmiCare award on livelihood. The work of the organization is visible in various national and international platforms and in state newspapers. 


Today, MUKTI has been able to spread its wings in almost every state and country. Hundreds of volunteers have become associated with us and are supporting our noble cause. Our volunteers are involved with providing expertise knowledge to fund raising and also to work with the people directly in the field. Educational institutions have reached out to Mukti for placements and internships for building a strong foundation among their students entitled with social commitment and values.
