Lighting Lives with Solar In Sundarban
3rd May 2010 saw a sensitization workshop for a solar project that was organised by MUKTI India and SIFE AIMK in collaboration with Bangiya Parishad Qatar, Mukti Qatar and TERI New Delhi at Kankandighi, Sundarban. The project promotes a sustainable revenue generating solar model wherein Rural solar entrepreneurs will be giving out solar lanterns to villagers at a very low and affordable cost on a rental basis. Workshop was to sensitize the potential customers and the solar entrepreneurs about the project and how it can be implemented in the best possible way. The workshop was organised by Koel Ghorai, Chief Coordinator, Mukti.
