With the advent of technology, increase in population and increasing trend of urbanization, we forgot that mother nature has given us the ability and enough natural wealth for our better survival. We keep on challenging that with our intention of living a wealthy life. Uncontrolled use of chemical manure and pesticides, we are able to produce more by sacrificing the quality of our food. Many of our health issues are due to this regular intake of poisons. This is the time we need to think about what we are keeping for our generation to come, what our children will eat!
13 years ago, Mukti has taken conscious decision to help farmers to produce organic vegetables. Today more than 5000 farmers got trained in organic farming and more than 2000 farmers are actively practicing organic farming. It was not so easy. These farmers sacrificed a lot initially because of the very low yield of crops, which is very natural at the start of the organic way of producing vegetables. They could not feed enough to their children during those days, but took the responsibility for feeding the world with poison-free food!
Time has come to pay back their sacrifice. Time has come to tell your kids about their sacrifice. Are you with me?
