Sannoy Saha
My name is Sannoy Saha, and I come from a modest family in Chinsurah, Hooghly. We are a family of six, and my father is the sole earning member. He runs a small grocery shop, and his limited income often made it difficult to meet our daily needs, let alone support higher education. My mother is a homemaker who has always been a pillar of strength for our family. Since childhood, I have been passionate about academics and dreamed of becoming a doctor. In 2019, I passed my Madhyamik examination from Hooghly Jyotish Chandra Vidyapith with 94% marks. Later, in 2021, I completed my Higher Secondary examination from Hooghly Collegiate School with 90% marks. In the same year, I successfully cleared the NEET examination and secured admission to Calcutta National Medical College to pursue my MBBS. However, the journey toward fulfilling my dream was not easy. Due to our financial constraints, continuing my medical education became a significant challenge. My father’s single income was not enough to support both the family and my studies. Despite these hardships, I remained determined to achieve my goal. In 2023, I came to know about the Mukti TSS Scholarship through a friend and applied for it. Fortunately, I was selected, and with the support of GSCA, I received this scholarship. This opportunity brought a turning point in my life. The financial assistance significantly reduced my burden and allowed me to focus wholeheartedly on my studies. Today, I have successfully completed my MBBS, 3rd Professional Part II and am about to begin my internship. This is a moment of immense pride and happiness for me. My achievement is not just the result of my hard work, but also the unwavering support of my family, Mukti organization, and my sponsor. Mukti has not only supported me financially but also helped me develop a deeper understanding of social responsibility. By participating in various social welfare activities, I have realized how many people in our society are still deprived of basic healthcare services. In the future, I aspire to pursue higher education and become a skilled and compassionate doctor. I want to dedicate myself to serving underprivileged communities and actively participate in free health camps organized by Mukti, ensuring that quality healthcare reaches people in remote areas. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mukti and my sponsor for being an integral part of my journey. Without their support, this achievement would not have been possible.
