Biswanath Maiti
My name is Biswanath Maiti, and I am a proud MUKTI TSS Scholar. I have recently completed my Bachelor of Technology from Brainware University and belong to Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. I come from a humble family of three members—my father, who is a farmer, my mother, who is a housewife, and me. I first learned about the MUKTI Scholarship from my brother while I was in my third year of college. I applied for the scholarship and was fortunate to receive it from that year onward, although I often wish I had known about it earlier. From the beginning, I aspired to pursue higher education and earn an M.Tech degree from a reputed institution. To achieve this goal, I started preparing for the GATE examination during my third year. Although I was unsuccessful in my first attempt, I remained determined and continued my preparation with dedication. This year, my hard work paid off when I successfully cleared the GATE examination with a score of 541. Throughout this journey, the MUKTI Scholarship played a significant role in supporting my education. The scholarship amount helped me pay my college fees and meet other academic expenses, including books, study materials, and GATE coaching. I am deeply grateful to the entire MUKTI team and especially to my sponsor, Ms. Sukla Basak Ma’am, for their continuous encouragement and support. Their contribution not only eased my financial burden but also motivated me to stay focused on my goals. Looking ahead, I wish to contribute to society by helping students in their academic journeys. I want to share my knowledge, guide them through difficult subjects, and inspire them to work hard toward their dreams. I strongly believe that education has the power to transform lives, and I hope to support students facing academic or financial challenges so they can build a brighter and more successful future.
