Anshuman Maitra
Education has been the foundation upon which I have built my aspirations and dreams. My name is Anshuman Maitra, and my academic journey has been shaped by dedication, perseverance, and the unwavering support of my parents and well-wishers. I completed my secondary education from Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School and my higher secondary education from Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home High School. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology (GCELT). Through consistent hard work and determination, I successfully qualified the GATE examination twice in the Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) stream and am now preparing to pursue my M.Tech degree at the prestigious Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. This achievement marks the culmination of nearly sixteen years of formal education, a journey that has not always been easy. Coming from a middle-class family, I have faced numerous financial and personal challenges. However, throughout every difficult phase, my parents remained my strongest source of support and inspiration. My father worked tirelessly to ensure that financial constraints never became a barrier to my education. Despite numerous responsibilities and challenges, he continuously supported my academic aspirations with unwavering dedication. Equally, my mother devoted her life to my growth and well-being. She sacrificed her own comforts, wishes, and countless personal aspirations to provide me with the environment and encouragement necessary to pursue my dreams. Their sacrifices, love, and blessings have been the driving force behind every milestone I have achieved. After joining GCELT, I learned about MUKTI and its Talented Student Sponsorship Program through my seniors. Becoming a beneficiary of this initiative proved to be a significant turning point in my academic journey. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to MUKTI and YCPL/VIVO for their generous financial assistance and continuous encouragement throughout my B.Tech studies. Their support significantly reduced the financial burden on my family and enabled me to focus more effectively on my education. Beyond financial assistance, MUKTI provided opportunities to participate in various academic and extracurricular activities that enriched my learning experience. These engagements helped me develop essential skills such as teamwork, discipline, leadership, and professional competence. The encouragement and guidance I received continually motivated me to strive for excellence and pursue my goals with greater confidence. Today, as I stand at the threshold of higher education and research, preparing to begin my M.Tech journey at Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, I recognize that this accomplishment is the result of the collective support of my parents, MUKTI, and YCPL/VIVO. Each of them has played an invaluable role in shaping not only my academic success but also my personal growth and character. I dedicate my achievements to these remarkable individuals and organizations who believed in me, invested in my potential, and stood by me during every stage of my educational journey. Their trust and support have inspired me to work harder, dream bigger, and remain committed to lifelong learning.
