My name is Arpan Guchhait, and my journey is one of determination, resilience, and hope shaped by challenging circumstances. I come from a lower middle-class family, where my father works tirelessly as a farmer. Growing up in a rural environment, I witnessed firsthand the struggles of financial limitations. Opportunities often felt out of reach, and life was never easy. Despite these challenges, I carried a dream from a very young age — to become a doctor. This dream was not only about personal success but also about supporting my family and serving people in need. However, pursuing a medical career is extremely difficult without financial stability. The cost of medical education, along with the expenses of living in a city like Kolkata, often made my dream seem impossible. During these uncertain times, I remained focused on my studies and continued to work hard. I believed that persistence would eventually create a path for me. A major turning point in my life came when Mukti and my respected sponsor, Dr. S.K. Biswas, recognized my potential and extended their support through a scholarship. I am deeply grateful to Dr. S.K. Biswas for believing in me when circumstances were against me. Their support was not just financial assistance — it was hope, encouragement, and a renewed sense of confidence. Because of Mukti and Dr. S.K. Biswas, I was able to fully concentrate on my studies without the constant burden of financial stress.
