Representative Of Kmpg Visited Plantation Sites Of Nagendrapur And Kankandighi Gp
On February 9, 2024, Ms. Ipsita Thakur from Mukti’s partner organization KPMG visited the Dragon, Mangrove, Coconut, and fruit plantation sites in Kankandighi and Nagendrapur Gram Panchayats. As part of this project, named "Mukti Green Defense in Sundarbans (MGDS)," more than 6000 mangrove trees, 3,600 dragon fruit plants, and more than 500 coconut and fruit trees have been planted along with 900 concrete poles as support for the dragon plants.
