About |
I am Avirup Pramanick from Nadia. Now I am a student of MBBS final year from Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital. As a medical student I am facing a challenging financial situation that I want to share with you.
My father is 64, who is a farmer experiencing a decline in strength, making it difficult for him to sustain our family.
I have an elder brother age 31, who is preparing for government jobs and he is currently unemployed, facing expenses related to books, coaching, and study materials.
As for myself, I am studying MBBS staying in Kolkata far away from my home. I am residing in a PG with a monthly rent of 5000/-, additional cost for electricity, maintenance, and 5000/- per month for food. The tuition fee for my college is 750/- per month. As the medical books and instruments are highly costly, the financial burden extends with each book averaging a minimum of 1500/-. My mother (age 52) a homemaker had to resort to taking a loan from Bandhan Bank and some from local people in the year 2019 for covering my Aakash coaching fees during my NEET-UG preparation and the loan was just settled last year. Unfortunately, our savings are insufficient to meet ongoing educational expenses.
I kindly request your compassionate consideration of my situation for a scholarship and the scholarship would greatly alleviate the financial strain on my family and enable me not worry about the money all the time .I am prepared to provide any necessary document or information to verify further the authenticity of my circumstances. |
