About |
Now I am living in the Jadavpur University main hostel. My family consists of four members- my father, mother, sister, and me. My father sells clothes from door to door as a hawker in the village. My sister is in Class 12 and will take her Higher Secondary exam this year. My mother, who is a homemaker, had an operation recently and now she is in better condition. We are facing serious financial difficulties. My father’s income is not enough to pay for both my education and my sister’s. I am working hard to complete my studies, and I want to pass the GATE exam so I can get a government job (PSU) and help my family and the country. But right now, it is very hard for me to buy study materials, books, and pay my hostel fees because of our financial problems.
This scholarship would help me focus on my studies without worrying about the financial burden on my family.
In the future, once I am able to make a stable condition in my life, I would be honoured to contribute to the Mukti Foundation. I hope to assist not only students facing similar financial difficulties but also support social causes such as disaster relief, environmental issues, and awareness programs. I have learned about Mukti Foundation's work culture from my Hostel seniors and through my own visits to your website. I am truly impressed by the impactful work you do in various areas, which makes me even more eager to be a part of this mission. I am deeply committed to giving back to the community, just as Mukti is helping now. |
