I am Rakesh Giri, from Vill-Uttar Chandanpiri in 24 parganas. I am dedicated to acquiring knowledge and developing new skill and exploring various interests. I am currently pursuing B.Tech degree in polymer science & technology at University of Calcutta. I have been interested in playing cricket and also interested in tree plantation and I want to improve society along with myself. My goal is to achieve excellence in my study and give a positive impact on society.
The number of family members are five; me ,my father(who is a farmer), my mother(who is housewife), elder brother and elder sister(they both are unemployed).
I have heard about this scholarship from my friend Pabitra Kumar and My senior Haragopal Dutta.
I require the financial need because I belongs from very poor family . In my family my father is only person who is earning now and filling our desired. Financial background of my family is very weak. This scholarship will increase the mobility of my study.
