My family consists of four- my parents, me and my sister. My father is the only earning member of the family, my mother is housewife. My father runs a small shop down the street. My father had been operated on enlarged pituitary gland twice, once is 2010 and 2nd time is 2016. He needs to undergo annual checkup every year which is very costly for us to bear; so he couldn't get checked up for the past few years. Now that I am doing medical, that is an added expense. I got to know about MUKTI scholarship from a youtube video, and then I came across the youtube channel of MUKTI .If I am awarded the MUKTI scholarship, I will totally use the money for my studies as medical books are expensive and reading them from a pdf file strains my eyes. I will also be able to bear the transportation cost between college and home on my own. The scholarship amount will be of great help for me and my family. I got selected in Mukti and my sponsor is Mr. Soumitra Bose. |
