I'm Nazreen Alam, a 'not-so-ordinary' undergraduate student. I have used the term 'not-so-ordinary' student because I am a specially-abled girl with big dreams. Born with physical limitations, I've always aspired to work in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Since childhood, I've admired RBI Grade B officer's dedication to serving the nation. Growing up, I developed a passion for accounts and commerce. To enhance my skills, I've completed a Diploma in Finance and Accounting alongside my undergraduate studies. I'm eager to learn more and make my dreams a reality. We are a member of 5. My father, mother, 2 brothers and me. Our only source of income is from our father who works as a leather bag labour. My mother is a homemaker. My brother studies. I applied for the 'Mukti Scholarship' as it would be a benefitted for me and my family. As a student with mobility limitations, transportation costs are a huge burden for us. This scholarship would cover tuition fees and transportation expenses. I want to pursue more courses like DFAS (Diploma in Finance and Accounting). Eventually I got selected in Mukti and my sponsor is Ms. Debasree Banerjee. |
