I'm Subhradeep Ghosh, a resident of Jigacha, Howrah. My family consists of myself, my parents and grandparents. My father is the only earning member of my family, he runs a confectionery shop. After going through several months of complete lack of commerce due to lock down, I was afflicted with pulmonary tuberculosis. In this present condition, my family has nothing left to sustain any fall: we have failed to continue our health insurance, and also have a burden of paying interest on a loan we have recently taken to support the my father's business since it is not going good. I came to know about the Mukti Scholarship Scheme through my University's Student Union. If I am privileged to have Mukti scholarship support, I'll be able to carry on with my education and other necessary expenses, and relieve my father of my living cost. I want to pursue M.Tech. in Biotechnology after qualifying GATE. In such a case, my father would not need to bear my education cost and thus provide improved support to the rest of my family. |
